Jeff Englebrecht left it to leading jockey Hugh Bowman to make the right call on tactics before Difficult To Get scored a last-stride win at Warwick Farm.

Concerned a wide draw would bring his filly undone in the Schweppes Handicap, Englebrecht said he was happy to rely on Bowman's experience to get the three-year-old home.

"I thought (from an) inside draw she'd be a good shot but when she drew wide (nine) I said to Hugh (Bowman) 'It's up to you' and she did the job."

Difficult To Get ($4) lunged on the line to pip Don't Tease Me ($9) by a short head to record her fifth win in 13 starts.

Englebrecht said he would now try to find a Saturday race over 1000m for Difficult To Get.

"She's a trier, she's always been honest. Real little race horse, I call her," Englebrecht said.

"We'll give her a Saturday (race) and then tip her back out again," he said.

"All the way through she's always been there somewhere fighting it out."

Englebrecht had planned to race Difficult To Get during Scone Cup carnival but the filly was balloted out of one race before being made an emergency for another.

Difficult To Get's win gave Bowman a winning treble from the first four races.

He also scored on the two-year-old Sambro for Chris Waller and Loveletter for Randwick trainer John Thompson.
