Race 1 – 2YO Handicap (1400m)

Political Debate will take plenty of improvement into his second career start at Warwick Farm on Wednesday, and he can break his maiden.

The So You Think colt showed ability at the trials prior to debuting, and returned a nice effort to finish second behind Resonator at Canterbury.

There isn’t a lot of form to study here, but he does look to be the one to beat on exposed ability.

Bet Now: Political Debate

Race 2 – Proven Thoroughbreds Handicap (1300m)

Podium takes winning form into the second at Warwick Farm on Wednesday and looks capable of winning again.

The Medaglia D’Oro gelding raced consistently during his debut prep without recording an elusive win, but he completed an ideal return to the races at Newcastle last month.

This is harder, but he has plenty of upside and can continue his rise through the grades.

Bet Now: Podium

Race 3 – First Justify Yearlings Handicap (2400m)

Shameless Miss can return to winning form in the third at Warwick Farm this week.

The Shamexpress mare recorded an eye-catching win at Ipswich two starts back, and charged home into second behind Arabolini at Randwick-Kensington last time out.

She’s rock-hard fit, will relish the mile and a half and is drawn to receive a lovely run.

Bet Now: Shameless Miss

Race 4 – Drinkwise Mile (1600m)

Mach Schnelle was a dominant winner of a similar contest at Randwick-Kensington a fortnight ago, and he can win again at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.

The Zacinto gelding ran home well to finish fourth, beaten two lengths by Game Theory when resuming, and he put paid to them over 1400m last time.

Fitter third-up and out to a mile, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again.

Bet Now: Mach Schnell

Race 5 – Pinatubo New @ Darley Handicap (1000m)

Quiet Riot has been excellent since resuming, and he strikes another winnable race third-up at Warwick Farm.

The Fastnet Rock gelding was far too good at Orange first-up from a spell, and he ran home well to fill the minors in a better race at Randwick-Kensington last time out.

This looks to be about his level and Timmy Clark will have options this week from the rails draw.

Bet Now: Quiet Riot

Race 6 – Shalaa @ Arrowfield Handicap (1200m)

Daralina Belle can win the penultimate race at Warwick Farm.

The Matt Smith-trained mare was excellent during her debut prep, winning three of five starts, and she returned a credible effort at Canterbury when resuming this time.

She’s been back to the trials since that effort, and I am expecting sharp improvement when she takes her place on Wednesday.

Bet Now: Daralina Belle

Race 7 – Vinery Yearlings Handicap (1400m)

Some talented gallopers will contest the last at Warwick Farm on Wednesday, but I think that Rangi Toa’s fitness edge will prove the difference.

The former Kiwi has made four appearances at the races for three wins and a close-up second placing in Listed company, and he was an impressive winner first-up this time.

With any improvement, he’ll take plenty of beating again.

Bet Now: Rangi Toa
