CAULFIELD

-Unchain My Heart
Evergreen staying mare. Ran on terrifically over 2000m. Very hard to beat out over more ground now

-Moment of Change.
Great run 1st up with 62kg looks to have come back well.

-Cornrow
Still a maiden but was placed in the Gr1 Blue Diamond and Gr1 ATC Sires at 2. Never threatened here but love the way he finished off. Looks a possibly Derby contender

-Brambles ****BLACK BOOK SPECIAL****
Won the QLD Derby before a long injury enforced lay off. Was last and deep today and had to corner very wide but the fashion in which he finished of late suggested he'll be very competitive when getting out to a more suitable trip

-Foreteller
Very good late over unsuitable distance and isn't a known first up performer. Will mix it with the very best at GR1 this Spring again

-Bonaria
Top class mare who was resuming under big weight. Got left flat footed over 1200m with the weight when they sprinted but the way she attacked the line late suggested she's right back to the form that saw her Gr1 competitive last Spring

ROSEHILL
-Artistic Lass
1st up. Settled well back and was left flat footed when they sprinted but Finished of nicely and is definitely worth following when she gets out to 1800m +

-Nostradamus
Terrific win over unsuitably short trip first up. Has always suggested he's a top line colt and the way he attacked the line late and was getting away from good horses suggests to me he's come on since his 2 year old racing.

-Entirely Platinum
Trialled terrifically leading into this first up run beating gun stablemate Messene. Was smashed in betting from as much as $6 early in the week to start $1.70 and didn't disappoint. Very soft win on the line and can really progress to the top grade this Spring out over a staying trip

-Lucky Chappy
Stakes winner in USA at 2. Group placed in Italy. Ran well in Dubai..... but after all that jet setting has now found his way to Chris Waller in Sydney (Had one run for Pat Carey in Melbourne 12 months ago). Gelded leading into this prep. Settled back in the field and struck plenty of trouble trying to get clear in the home running, bumping heavily before finally getting into clear galloping room. When he finally did get out he attacked the line in great fashion and really lengthen well. Well worth following from here on getting out over more ground.

-Hooked
Huge run first up from a break. Settled back worse than midfield on the outside, then had to come 4 and 5 horses wide to the outside on cornering. Was winding up beautifully getting to the line. Poor win strike rate (2 / 16) but has run some huge races at elite juvenile level; 4th in the Gr1 Spring Champion, 5th beaten only 2.5L in the Randwick Guineas then last prep was 3rd in the ATC Derby beaten just on a length on a heavy track which doesn't appear to suit him that much. In for a great Spring, not an elite stayer put will win races placed correctly for sure (Nommed for Caulfield Cup / Cox Plate)

-Best Case ***BLACK BOOK SPECIAL***
Resuming here over 1400m first up after a huge run last start in the Gr1 SA Derby over 2500m. Totally outpaced over the 7 furlongs early settling about 12-14L off the leaders. Worked to the outside in the home straight and ran on very very strongly and was only just getting wound up at the post. Looks top shelf and in for an enormous Spring, I've had something on him at 100-1 in the Caulfield Cup. (Nommed for Caulfield Cup & Cox Plate)

-Spy Decoder
Resuming. Settled a minute off the leaders and was forced very wide around the corner. But worked to the line very nicely considering 1100m is a long way short of his best trip. Follow him over more ground.

GEELONG

- Embrace The Rock.
Came into her debut run with a good wrap from the stable and was well backed to win. Was never clear until the 100m mark when Walker had to veer around heels sharply. Finally balanced up with about 75m to go and rocketed late. Hard to beat next time / looks promising

- Go Zeus.
Unwanted in the betting on debut but the way it stretched out late and flew to the line suggested there's a win in store very soon.

- Jimbaran.
Impressive debut win running on hard to win. More wins in store.
