Warrnambool R4 #9 Benray - very weak maiden field with most of these having had their fair share of chances to break maiden status, wont take much to win this race, this one is not only the best on exposed form but it also has minor scope for more, deceivingly well bred type by God's Own out of a Fasliyev mare has already produced 3/4 sister to this one who is a dual G1 & G2 winner Gallica (Redoute's Choice), can be forgiven for its last start 6th at Swan Hill when it got too far back over 1300m, good effort at Hamilton 3 back when 2nd to Injunction beating home a subsequent winner and other decent types who would have no problem annexing this race, 3rd at Ararat 5 starts ago also full of merit, this looks the right race on that basis and only needs to hold the recent form to win here.

Warrnambool R5 #7 Three Bears - well bred type by Magnus out of a 7 time winning Geiger Counter mare who is alsoa half sister to 13 time winner Kabla, comes into this as a maiden taking on race winners but no real depth in the opposition form whilst this one has placed 3 from 4 in its short career, last start 2nd at Werribee reads strong as does 2nd at Pakenham the start prior, 3rd up from a spell now and with scope for more isevery chance of making all from the inside gate here.

Bathurst R1 #7 Regarding Henry - very well bred type by Henrythenavigator out of the Redoute's Choice mare Berryland who is a winning half sister to Road To Success & Condotti, dam was also 2nd in 2yo company in town and 4th in the Debutant Stakes (Listed), comes into this having 8th career start without showing much on the track yet but won a trial at Newcastle before failing last 2 starts, trial form out of that race holds up for a maiden at this level, blinkers go back on and get a 1st time tongue tie, prepared to give one more chance here considering the good price of 12.0 that is available in early fixed odds markets.
