Race 1 – 1:15pm – Merchant Navy @ Coolmore Plate, (1200m)

There isn’t a lot of form to study ahead of Race 1 at Warwick Farm on Wednesday and at publish, debutant Espiona is our $1.65 favourite.

I am happy to stay out of this one from a betting perspective.

Race 2 – 1:50pm – Admire Mars At Arrowfield Handicap, (1400m)

Yagoona will take plenty of improvement for his debut performance and he can break his maiden at Warwick Farm.

The Pride Of Dubai gelding had a couple of trials prior to his first start, and he ran home well to finish fourth on the Kensington course at Randwick late last month.

He is drawn to receive a lovely run under Hugh Bowman, and he can fight out the finish.

Race 3 – 2:25pm – Vinery Handicap, (1100m)

Jerle is ready to win third-up at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.

The Godolphin-trained galloper stripped fitter for a fair effort for fifth at Newcastle when resuming, and he only just missed in BM72 company last time.

Fitter third-up and in a similar race, he is primed to strike.

Race 4 – 3:00pm – Ranvet Handicap, (1600m)

This is a decent drop in class for Grande Rumore and she is up to winning.

The Night Of Thunder mare finished fifth, beaten only a length and a half at Randwick when resuming, and she was only two lengths off the pace of Ellsberg last time out.

There obviously isn’t a horse of that ability engaged this week and it represents a great opportunity for Grande Rumore to strike.

Race 5 – 3:35pm – The Agency Real Estate Handicap, (2400m)

I am going to give Zudin another chance in the fifth at Warwick Farm this afternoon.

The Redoute’s Choice gelding has placed in three of his last four starts and only just missed at Wyong last time.

He’s rock-hard fit and under Tommy Berry, he probably won’t be offered a better opportunity to win in town.

Race 6 – 4:15pm – Yulong Handicap, (1400m)

Daralina Belle puts an unbeaten record on the line at Warwick Farm on Wednesday and perhaps unsurprisingly, she has opened a $1.60 favourite.

I can’t find one to beat her, but that price is also far too short for me, so I am going to stay out.

Race 7 – 4:55pm – Keeneland Handicap, (1200m)

This shapes as the most open race on Wednesday’s program in Sydney and at publish, we’re faced with a little less than $5 the field.

Mollycoddle hasn’t been seen at the races since July, but her fresh record is excellent, and she can make a winning return at Warwick Farm this week.

The Lonhro mare charged in to score a lovely win in BM72 company when resuming last time and wasn’t awful in a few tougher races in the wake.

She has had the benefit of a trial in the lead-up to her return and I am happy to have something on.

Race 8 – 5:35pm – Benchmark 72 Handicap, (1100m)

Six Again can win the last at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.

The Written Tycoon mare has made just two appearances at the races so far, finishing second on debut in April and resuming this time for a dominant win over 900m.

This is harder, but it is difficult to ignore what she did fresh, and she’ll only improve for that effort.
